This year I took a position as a Soprano Soloist and Section Leader with a really fun group called the San Gabriel Valley Choral Company. I’m about to perform in my first concert with them, Alma y Corazon. It will be on April 5th at 7:30 pm at Monrovia Presbyterian Church under the direction of Zanaida Robles.

The Company will perform Ariel Ramirez’s Misa Criolla, and I will be the soprano soloist on this piece. We’ll also perform Casals’ Eucarista and Piazzolla’s Libertango. There will also be a set of Spanish language art songs, during which I’ll be singing three pieces by the Argentine composer Ginastera. In addition, two other talented singers, tenor Benjamin Cortez and baritone Vincent Robles, will perform solos.

Advance ticket prices are $15 general admission, $10 Student with ID and Seniors 65+ and $5 children under 12. Tickets purchased at the door will cost $20 general admission, $12 Student with ID and Seniors 65+ and $5 for children under 12.
